We, The Alumni of the National Society of Black Engineers, who wish to support the goals and objectives of NSBE, do hearby dedicate ourselves to develop intensive programs to enable African Americans to play a key role in setting a standard of excellence in education, business enterprise, and the family.

In accordance to the national direction, local vision, and interest of the general body, the following goals were established:

• To increase the professional development and technical awareness of the membership.
• To provide a network of successful black professionals.
• To be actively involved in the community.
• To establish a family atmosphere in DAE through social activities.
• To increase membership.
• To create programs that support the undergraduate goals.
• To establish a framework to fortify our financial status.
